When the match appeared to be heading in the direction of a 2-2 draw in the 86th minute, Dubidat snagged a long goal kick out of the air, kept the ball away from the defender, and then unleashed a game-winning goal. The 25-year-old kicked the ball and it soared towards the goal, it smashed into the underside of the bar to win the game. That was Dubidat’s 2nd goal of the game and his 14th of the season. Dubidat’s incredible score led was a game-winner that gave Alvechurch a 3-2 win over Sheffield FC.
“The circumstances of the goal, it was 2-2 at the time, and it being late in the game which made it better,” Dubidat told Alvechurch TV. “To be fair I had a stinker for most of the game, so to score that was a massive relief. I was getting stick from the gaffer who takes no prisoners, if someone is not playing well, he will tell them and I hold my hands up.”
